So from what I searched from the internet, Microsoft's Search Engine (SE), Bing, "What dogs require to live a long time" and here's what I got. From PetMD, titled "21 Longest-Living Dog Breeds", says on a list, 1. Chihuahua. Life expectancy: 14-16 years. ..." I'mma stop right there. I have an 11-year-old senior chihuahua. If you want to know more about the list, click the link in the text. #Bluehyperlink, thanks.
Chleo is the name of my dog. I've been trying to change it to Cleo, short for Cleopatra but no matter the case, it's always going to be Chleo. This is her:
I believe she's young, healthy, and I'd like to keep my senior dog young forever! T.T, nothings impossible! Anyways, because she is a chihuahua, one mixed with wiener dog. I don't know if that makes a difference but maybe it does to prevent complications. No boast.
She cries when my family and I leave for a vacay, I hear that she cries or even howls. Now, she cries every time she sees us. And I wonder there is anything to be specific of concern for her. I notice when I take her for walks, she's disciplined to walk without a leash, she's independent until one day, she ran away which she hasn't done in a while. I was surprised from how she didn't respond when I called her name. She kept walking, to greet the neighbor. Her safety matters first. And I'm starting to think, instead of security, discipline, maybe she needs something whole. In mind, body, and spirit if dogs have one because happiness, can sometimes make you blind if it isn't handled correctly. Of course, to get to that, she can do it in good health too! That way she lives long and healthy! Mhuahahah!
I know the dog food is mostly powder put together in bags, so I thought, meal preps. I noticed, sometimes she passes gas, and eats McDonalds I'm not looking and probably a whole pizza to herself at some points. Believe me, do not underestimate this skinny chihuahua when it comes to food she really likes! From that, I'm thinking, clean out the gutter.
Week 1, starts January 16 of 2024, Tuesday, her diet will be developed as she's continuously observed.
I notice she gets hungry at night time and what better way to do it with grains, such as white rice. Same SE, results from "Benefits from white rice for dogs" popped up were;
- It's low in fat and sodium.
- It provides energy and easily digestible carbohydrates.
- It contains antioxidants, calcium, iron, vitamin D, and other nutrients.
- It soothes gastrointestinal upsets and helps with diarrhea and bowel movements.
- It's bland and chewable, which makes it suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs.
Also, Bings indexed information comes from these websites on the upcoming hyperlinks:
I'll keep this in mind, and see how it goes! Stay tuned.
